The location is good and nearby good eateries. Accessible to other parts of subang through grab. The facilities are good with warm water available 24 hrs. The rooms are big and comfy

Very Good

Room was very spacious and with very comfortable bed.

Breakfast was limited but reasonable. Dinner was very good with a wide variety of items though a bit pricy. It would have been perfect if the toiletries included items like: tooth paste, tooth brush, comb cotton buds, sanitory bags.

the family room are super comfy during the night, large space for a family.

I get the family room in level 3A, I requested higher level but the staff said its full and ask me “only one night stay right?” During the sunny its very hot in the room. Maybe bcs of the zink (refer photo) even the ac doesn’t feel. Only living room area are cold. Not really enjoying the stay here.

Lack of maintenance. One of the lift was not working since I last stayed about 1 months ago, this time still not fixed.

Plesant and would reccommend it anytime.

Very convenient as its attached to the mall filled with restaurants and convenience.

One of the lift is out of order so waiting time to and from room a little inconvenience. Guess its only temporary

Could've been better with improved preparation from the hotel staffs.

After complaining about the cleanliness of the previous room, the staffs replaced it with a clean one and we got the upgrade for it. Thank you. And the breakfast was really nice too.

Upon check-in the room given was not properly cleaned up and the bed was not made up at all.

Room card can’t access to lift 2 times and when insert the card at the room the light are off no aircond , and I need to carry all my luggage return to the lobby 2 times. Terrible experiences and the breakfast is very normal, not worth the price

clean and comfortable hotel

love the ambience, and love that the hotel grounds belonged to a mall, no need to go far for food, shopping and entertainment.

the buffet spread is so so. the food is mediocre, however, the mall food, is sufficient. do not go fr the breakfast option, or pay more for the breakfast, not worth it. the service lift is very very slow.

Nothing.

1. The staff were unknowledgeable about the facilities in the hotel. 2. The gym and swimming pool is in the shopping centre (fitness first), meaning no kids around. There were also only 2 lifts going to the gym, of which 1 was not working. With the amount of traffic the 1 lift sees, we waited for more than 30mins just to step into the lift. 3. The carpark is the most unorganised I have ever seen, the traffic flow on each floor is completely different and we took more than 20 each time just to get out. The lanes up to exit was also very tight causing multiple cars to reverse to get onto the exit ramp. On 1 of our exits a car reversed into our open boomgate causing it to close. The security personnel than accused us of not wanting to pay when our ticket has already been 'eaten' by the machine. It took another 20 minutes arguing with the security guard before we were let out. Coming out of the carpark into the traffic of waiting cars (grab and private pick up) is also unnecessary and another long wait. 4. There was sometimes a very strong unpleasant smell coming from the toilet. 5. To top it off the hotel lifts were very slow. I don't have the luxury of time to be constantly waiting for things like lifts and etc.

The Breakfast Buffet is not much and the taste is so poor.

The Breakfast Buffet is not much and the taste is so poor. The porridge is sooo watery. The porridge should be thicker. The food standard is not up to the standard yet. I am a regular Traveller. As I travel for work. This is my first time stayed in Empire Hotel Subang.

Great value but for an outdated hotel.

The room was a great value and conveniently attached to the Empire Shopping Mall. You do not need to drive out to shop or dine. As a guest, you are entitled to enter the Fitness First gym in the shopping mall as the hotel itself doesn't have its own.

The hotel has a very outdated look. The hallway smelt of cleaning solution and the lifts are very slow. There was one incident where there is a worker on a ladder fixing the lights in the lift while we are using it. The panel hiding the electronics slipped the workers hand and nearly fell over our heads. The lift should not be in operation if it is under any sort of repairs, big or small. This incident happened on 22/9/2019 at about 9AM-9.30AM. Inside the room, the wooden floors are sunk and squeaking at certain areas when we walked over. The room was generally clean but felt a little bit dusty still. Lastly, the AC unit doesn't really regulate the temperature well throughout the room because the entrance was way cooler than the bedding area.

The room charge rates are uncertained. Better to double confirm on your tax invoice during checkout on the room charge rates.

Room cleanliness

Buffet breakfast- no refill of ayam masak merah from 930am until 1030am(closed). Buffet spread not being clean (water spilled and bread crumbs) at bread counter, in a mess. Floor staff not being alert with surrounding, chit chat with each other and even eat while standing.

Room modern concept.. spacious room..

1. Lift is very slow, feel like forever waiting for the lift. 2. Getting out from basement carpark is a real hassle and very long process.. first, guest can only park at B2 and B3 level to enjoy the free parking.. so after getting verification from reception, parking ticket had to be validated at the autopay machine which is only located at B1.. The whole process is made much more slower by the very slow moving lift.. especially if it is during empire shopping complex non-operational hours since guest can only use the hotel lift to go down to B2 and B3, instead of additional shopping complex escalator..
